Everybody is connected; everyone is in social media communities; and some lead those communities. Those community leaders have great influence on their followers and they can effectively influence the decisions of people as well. Therefore, they are called “Influencers” and they have the potential to promote anything.

An influencer is a person with a certain degree of ability to influence potential buyers of a service or product or by recommending or promoting items by uploading some forms of original — often sponsored — content to social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok or other online channels.

Influencer marketing is a rapidly growing form of social media marketing which involves product placements and endorsements from people, organizations, and social media influencers who have a purported level of knowledge, expertise, or social influence in their fields. In influencer marketing, enterprises or brands hire influencers who have an established social bond, trust, and credibility with their audiences on social media platforms to recommend and promote their brands in social media posts. Advertising content produced by influencers is often referred to as “testimonial advertising”.
